When the homework is in Swedish and you are still learning the language, it is hard to help. We match your child with a young tutor who recently took the same courses in a Swedish school, at home in Stockholm or online.
From the form
to the first session.
The same service as for every other family, with one difference: you tell us which language the sessions should be in.
- 01Tell us what you need
Fill in the interest form in English: the subject, the year group, where in Stockholm you live, and which language the sessions should be in. It costs nothing, and you are not committing to anything.
- 02We match, and we are honest about the language
We look for a tutor who recently took the same courses. If you want the sessions in English, we tell you before anything is booked whether we have someone who can take them in English.
- 03At home or online
You choose for each session. At home works when the tutor can get to you every week; otherwise you start online.
- 04A report after every session
The tutor writes what you went through and what comes next. The family view, where you book and read the reports, is in Swedish for now.
The homework,

Swedish and Swedish as a second language, maths, English and the science subjects, from year 1 to upper secondary school. For a child who is new to Swedish school, the first step is often to understand what the homework is asking, before the subject itself.
We match on the Swedish curriculum, so the tutor knows what your child is expected to learn this year and how the school will assess it.

an hour.
The same price in every subject, at home or online. Siblings in the same session add SEK 69 an hour in total, the same for three children as for two. No registration fee and no minimum term, and for new families the first hour is free once you have booked two hours.
What international families ask
Yes, if we have a tutor who can take them in English. Tell us in the form, and we will tell you before anything is booked.
Yes. Help with Swedish as a second language is part of what we do. Say what your child needs in the form, and we will look for the right person.
Not yet. Booking, payments and reports are in Swedish for now. You are welcome to write to us in English at info@nextrum.se.
We match on the Swedish curriculum. For the IB or another curriculum, ask us first, and we will tell you honestly whether we have the right person.
